Dr. Eddie Wazen – Ph.D.


Dr. Eddie Wazen PhD. is the founder/Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Public safety and Law Institute, Australian Security and Foreign Affairs Research Institute, Global Tactical Krav Maga Federation, and the International Police Think Tank Association…in addition, as a district advisor, for the International Police Association (strategic intelligence division -- Asian Affairs Bureau, Macau and the Grand Bay area) focusing on issues of crime and justice with extensive educational and prevention experiences in child protection, child welfare research, child emotional and psychological abuse, high-risk adolescents with diverse ethnicity and/or cultural backgrounds, public security strategies and policies analysis over the past thirty years, including the provision of consultancy to individuals, organizations and universities on a range of issues including practices, programs development and curricula designs, and review. 


The Justice Research division, which is based in Sydney-Australia, serves the needs of the nation civil advisory authorities and criminal justice planners and administrators through workshops, conferences, portfolio writings and program evaluation support. Dr. Wazen is also responsible for the development and implementation of specialized defensive strategic risk intelligence that relates to National Law Enforcement training and prevention programs, and holds various doctorate and masters’ degrees exploring the social science in criminal justice management, including intelligence Strategies, Business and Law. 


Thus, Dr. Wazen is a former high ranking (Senior) Military Officer and renowned Master instructor who served in the Middle-East and on international deployment assigned to a number of specialized teams including operational overseas of a protective security intelligence, advanced counter-terrorism, high-risk tactical operations, and training experience with the responsibilities of protecting international Governmental personnel, Royalty, dignitaries and VIPS. 


Hence, through his long Military and law Enforcement experience, he has had assignments in international Investigations, combat military instructor, as well as certified master law enforcement weapons and defensive tactics instructor, operational safety training, learning and development including the possession of a wide variety of training in emergencies and security contingency preparedness with a possession of a several distinguished martial arts techniques and methodological strategies to help individuals advance their careers, become experts, keep safe and save lives. 


In addition, Dr. Wazen has undertaken extensive research into child abuse and family violence – he is the author of numerous articles that has published widely in academic magazines and writes regularly for International Police and Security Magazine, and the broader media. 


Furthermore, Dr. Wazen has been formally commended by law enforcement organizations on international Level and the People’s Republic of China for outstanding Instruction to policing in operational police training, operational Safety Training, Learning and Development, transnational crime, fraud and counter terrorism, etc. -- He is been formally honored as a professor status for a number of Police Colleges and Universities throughout the People’s Republic of China. 


Dr Wazen’s philosophy of both teaching and writing can be summoned-up in these words “to interconnect awareness and intelligence we must grasp, then embrace a person interest and influence – be it a learner, scholar, colleague, acquaintance, or legislator. Our literature context, our communicative outlooks, and our training must notably be pertinent to the problematical challenges facing people nowadays, and inevitabilities they must -- in diverse methods – help resolve those complexities and problems.”
